Developer
Qualifications: Flutter, Node.js, Websockets, GraphQL, AWS.
You'll build and maintain our mobile app, while working closely with our designers to iterate based on user feedback. Expect to ship fast, deploy often, and contribute across the stack. Working sessions and late-night calls are a plus.
Product Designer
Qualifications: Figma proficiency, end-to-end product design, strong understanding of user research and testing methods, experience building design systems.
You bring demonstrated success in consumer-facing product design. Expect to ship fast while collaborating closely with other designers, engineers, and various stakeholders to own the full design cycle.
Content Creator
Qualifications: Must be comfortable on camera, video editing skills are a plus.

FAQ
We are an early-stage, bootstrapped startup. We treat the work we do with the same urgency as any funded company, because we believe in what we’re building. As Umee grows, we plan to transition into paid positions.
No. We are a fully remote team, and teammates can contribute from where are they are. What matters is commitment and communication, not geography.
That depends on your skills and interests. We need people in engineering, design, community building, and business & product development. Early teammates often wear more than one hat and have the freedom to shape their role.
We meet regularly over video calls, use Discord to stay in sync, and organize on project management software. Culture matters to us as much as the project, so we invest in staying connected as people, not just as tasks on a digital board.
As we move from early-stage funding to launch, the team will transition from volunteer-based to paid positions. The people who are with us now will have the opportunity to step into leadership roles and help guide the next chapter of Umee.
